Looking for a fun, eco-friendly way to connect with the local landscape? Come create with us at our upcoming Community Artist in Park Art Collage Workshop! We’re breathing fresh artistic life into past Colorado National Monument Association (CNMA) calendars by re-imagining their stunning desert landscapes, wildlife photography and art into personal paper art. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or picking up scissors for the first time, join us to celebrate public lands, share stories, and take home a handmade masterpiece.
Gayle Gerson is an experimental mixed-media and collage artist based in Grand Junction, Colorado. Rooted in a family tradition of handiwork, she weaves everyday ephemera—paper scraps, advertising, and text—into artwork that captures modern culture.
A signature member of the National Collage Society and co-founder of the Rocky Mountain Collage Society, Gayle teaches at the Art Center in Grand Junction and leads creative process workshops nationwide. Her award-winning work has been featured in Kolaj Magazine, Watercolor Artist, and on the cover of the 2011 UNESCO World Heritage Forest Report.
